Tail drive coupling notes for Concept 60

The Kyosho H6034 is engineered as a replacement tail drive coupling for the Concept 60 helicopter tail driveline. It links the tail output shaft to the tail rotor drive and is intended to be used when inspection shows wear or play that could affect control response.

Fitting is handled readily by those versed in tail assembly service: remove the tail boom access panel, inspect the current coupling and mating shafts, then install the new coupling while checking alignment and torque on fasteners. Use compatible hex drivers and follow the helicopter manufacturer's torque specs to avoid over-tightening the connection points.

In tuning workflows the coupling is a small but key component for keeping correct tail rotor drive alignment and reducing play that can produce oscillations. Once replaced, verify tail pitch response and perform a ground rotor check to ensure there is no binding and that the tail moves smoothly with control inputs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Replacing a worn coupling can restore tightness in the driveline and improve tail responsiveness by removing unwanted play that leads to lag or oscillation.
Minor trim checks are recommended after installation; perform ground-centred control checks and adjust trim as necessary before flight.
Ensure alignment of mating shafts, correct fastener torque, and free rotation by hand to rule out binding before attempting a flight.
