Designed for applicable Lepton Lex models, this tail pitch lever stay provides the mounting point and stabilisation required for accurate tail pitch linkage geometry. It helps maintain the correct relationship between the pitch lever and the tail rotor pitch link for consistent handling.
Installation is suited to technicians accustomed to small helicopter tail work: remove the tail boom cover, inspect existing clearances, replace the old stay ensuring the lever moves freely, and check there is no binding at neutral and travel limits. Make small adjustments to the pitch link to reestablish correct neutral and endpoints.
When tuning, confirm tail responsiveness with cautious hover checks and trim observations. Should any play present at the pivot, inspect nearby fasteners, linkages and bearings rather than over-tightening components, and replace worn parts as necessary.
