Introduced in 1983, the Suzuki RG250G put race-derived engineering into a road bike format, using a lightweight aluminium alloy frame and upgraded suspension components. The bike was powered by a 247cc water-cooled 2-stroke engine, producing about 45 horsepower for lively performance.
Tamiya's 1/12 scale Suzuki RG250T kit reproduces the machine with care, offering parts that echo the original bike's engine, brakes and suspension. The model is popular among builders seeking a faithful vintage racer in small scale.
The model kit includes realistic synthetic rubber tyres, a steerable front wheel and waterslide decals to recreate original graphics. The included pictorial instruction booklet breaks down each step to help ensure an accurate assembly.
