The Yamaha RZV500R, noted from the 1983 Tokyo Motor Show, is recreated by Tamiya as a highly detailed 1/12 scale kit. The model captures the bike's prominent fairing, tank contour and single-seat tail, and the air-cooled 2-stroke V4 engine is carefully modelled with carburetor and radiator detailing to reflect the original machinery.
To add to the authentic look the kit features a metal coil spring for the rear link-type monocoque suspension plus vinyl tubing for ignition wires and radiator hoses. Builders will find the mix of fine parts and mechanical detail satisfying to assemble and display.
