Tamiya made 1/12 Repsol Honda NSR500 1999 (14077) Motorcycles Vehicles assembly kit

Riding the Honda NSR 500 to five championships consecutively from 1994, Michael Doohan has sparked global attention. The powerplant of his machine is made of a crankcase lead valve 2-stroke 112 degree V-shaped 4-cylinder equipped 499cc engine, which pumps down much more power split radiator, air ducts along with other parts of the power train are neatly concentrated across the powerplant, and firmly held set up by a twin-tube aluminum frame. The 1999 form of this motorcycle features mechanics cultivated over several years of competition. This will be especially real associated with engine, which because of a rule change in 1998 was altered to use unleaded gas just. In contrast, the suspension remained mostly unchanged, comprising an inverse telescopic system in the front and a pro-link system regarding backside. Just some minor modifications had been made to the geometry with this system, ensuring reliable braking well suited for competitive conditions. Like in 1998, Michael Doohan, Alex Criville, and Tadayuki Okada compensate the Repsol Honda NSR 500 riding group. On 3rd GP in Spain, top contender Doohan had been tangled up in a significant accident. His teammate Criville, however, finished with a victory in that race, and later stretched his winning streak to four victories, crossing the finish line first at the 4th GP in France, the 5th GP in Italy as well as the 6th GP in Catalonia.
