This 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit presents the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR as a display-first replica, emphasising exposed bodywork and surface detail for accurate scale appearance and finishing.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR represented Kawasaki's return to four-stroke grand prix competition with a 990cc four-stroke engine. Early development challenges gave way to a programme of updates and rider changes, including signing Shinya Nakano in 2004. The ZX-RR produced competitive results, the season highlight being a second place at the Dutch round achieved by Nakano.
Confirmed kit features are presented without conjecture. The model reproduces the ZX-RR outline in 1/12 scale and provides removable body panels secured with precision fasteners so builders can choose an exposed or closed presentation. The rear suspension uses a realistic nut fastener and the kit includes a small wrench for assembly. Decals are supplied as water-slide Cartograf sheets and the synthetic rubber slick tyres feature Bridgestone branding. Two race number options are provided in the decal set.
A carefully detailed static model aimed at modellers who prioritise external authenticity and the flexibility to display mechanical detail by removing bodywork.
