Designed as a high-detail 1/12 assembly kit, this model recreates the 2009 Fiat Yamaha YZR-M1 with emphasis on mechanical components and realistic presentation for advanced modellers.
The 2009 machine evolved from its predecessor with revisions targeting tyre interaction and handling balance. The 800cc inline four engine installation and the updated chassis lowered the center of gravity and improved fuel efficiency and drivability across race runs, allowing riders to extract consistent performance when matched to the season's spec tyres.
The kit captures principal mechanical features of the 2009 racer, from the inline four-cylinder engine layout to authentic front and rear suspension detail. Removable elements include side cowlings and the seat assembly, secured with small screws, and the tank cover can be lifted to reveal internal detail. The supplied slick tyres are solid rubber and carry Bridgestone markings. Decal sheets cover No.46 and No.99 liveries. A separate rider figure in a cornering pose is available as an extra.
