Detailed 1/12 Replica of the Honda RC166

The Tamiya 14127 faithfully recreates the Honda RC166 GP Racer that dominated the 1966 season, a bike famous for Mike Hailwood's ten victories and the six-cylinder layout. This 1/12 scale model highlights the six exhaust outlets and the engineering that defined the era.

Features for Accurate Assembly

The kit includes clear components to let builders display internal details, plus solid rubber tyres with the triangular tread pattern seen in the 1960s. Metal logo transfers and photo-etched parts are provided to lift the realism of the completed model.

This is just to let you know just how impressed I was to receive my order in perfect condition and It was all due to the fantastic packing and shipping preparation you went to, a wonderful effort and, it was well protected. Ha ahah, in fact, I had trouble
Essential tools include sprue cutters, hobby knife, fine files, tweezers, small brushes, and suitable adhesive for plastic and metal parts.
Aftermarket wheel sets, chains and rivet details can enhance realism, but the stock kit already provides high detail with photo-etched parts and metal transfers.
Mask clear parts with low-tack tape or liquid mask to prevent overspray, and avoid strong solvents that can cause clouding.
While not designed for lighting, careful modification and tiny LEDs can be added to highlight interior features if you plan wiring and power discreetly.
