Intro to the Tamiya 15476 JR Basic Tune Up Parts

The Tamiya 15476 JR Basic Tune Up Parts kit is a compact selection for Mini 4WD builders wanting better control from their MA chassis. The set focuses on practical tweaks that improve handling and reduce unwanted drag.

Design and chassis benefits

With a midship motor layout the MA chassis offers solid balance and steady speed. The included front and rear FRP plates support a range of rollers so you can adapt the car to different cornering demands.

Included components and flexibility

The kit features 13mm low-friction rollers, four adjustable mass dampers, stabiliser ball heads and small fitting parts for secure assembly. Front plate acceptance covers 9, 11, 13 and 19mm rollers while the rear plate allows 9, 11, 13, 17 and 19mm, giving scope to adjust handling precisely.

Practical racing notes

Designed with official track racing in mind, this tune-up set helps smooth corner entries and cut rolling resistance. It is aimed at racers who want reliable, repeatable setup options for the MA chassis platform.

This is my 3rd and largest order from RC Jaz so far and I have to say I've been very impressed with this store. Everything arrived in perfect shape and order, very well packaged and delivered quickly bearing in mind this had to come from the other sid
Basic hand tools like small screwdrivers and pliers are sufficient. Some small adjustments may require fine files or a hobby knife for tidy fitment.
Stabiliser ball heads in the kit fit typical Mini 4WD mounting points and work with standard stabiliser arms, but double-check fit on modified setups.
Inspect rollers after practice runs for wear and debris. Keeping bearings and axles clean will preserve low-friction performance and consistency on race day.
