Introduction to the Rev-Tuned 2 Motor PRO

The Tamiya 15488 Rev-Tuned 2 Motor PRO is an upgrade motor intended to raise performance in Mini 4WD PRO cars that use double-shaft motors. With efficient metal brushes, it is made specifically for the PRO lineup and not for standard Mini 4WD kits.

Where this motor performs best

Designed for high RPM operation, the motor produces excellent top speeds on straight sections and is especially effective with smaller tyre diameters. It accepts 2.4 to 3.0V input, and its torque and RPM are in the 1.2-1.5mN-m and 13,200-14,900 ranges respectively.

Visual details and fitment notes

The motor is recognisable by a blue end bell and is intended to integrate cleanly into PRO chassis systems. Note that pinion gears are not included and need to be purchased to match your drive ratio.
