Precision carbon plate for sharper front response

The Tamiya 15548 Jr 2mm Carbon Wide Front Plate with Sliding Dampers offers a performance-minded carbon upgrade to the Mini 4WD front assembly. Made from high grade carbon fiber, it is roughly 40% lighter and stiffer than the aluminum front plate supplied as Item 15469, and it bears the "MINI 4WD / HIGH GRADE CARBON" legend with the Tamiya logo.

Adjustable roller setups and chassis compatibility

Designed with multiple mounting holes, this plate accepts 9mm, 13mm, 17mm and 19mm rollers so you can dial in handling characteristics. It fits MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR, VS and Super-II chassis types, but some chassis or body adjustments might be necessary for clearance with wide rollers.

Installation notes for sliding dampers

To get the sliding damper action you will need the separately sold Item 15469 Wide Front Sliding Damper. Careful alignment and secure mounting will make the most of the plate's reduced weight while maintaining stability on race lines.
