Classic 1979 Honda CB750F in 1/6 Scale by Tamiya 16020

The Honda CB750F made its debut in June 1979 and quickly influenced sportbike design with strong performance and refined styling. Celebrated among riders and tuners, the CB750F set a benchmark in the 750cc segment. This Tamiya scale kit reproduces the bike's characteristic profile and mechanical features.

Design Background

Built to compete with Kawasaki's Z models, the CB750F featured a 748cc DOHC engine, four valves per cylinder and roughly 70 bhp. The styling borrowed from Honda's larger models and racing experience, producing a machine that looked as good as it performed.

What the Kit Recreates

The model faithfully captures details like low-mounted handlebars, rear footrest positioning and the double cradle chassis. Included parts simulate the front air forks, adjustable rear shocks, racing-style front guard and accurate disc brakes to enhance authenticity.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/6
  • Material: High-quality plastic
  • Assembly: Requires glue
  • Features: Detailed engine and suspension parts

Incredibly fast delivery . All in very good condition .
Assembly time varies with experience; expect several sessions over a few weekends to complete careful painting and fine details, especially for first-time Tamiya 16020 builders.
Yes, many builders swap tyres, add aftermarket metal parts or use photo-etched detail sets to enhance realism. Check compatibility before purchasing upgrades.
This is a static display model and does not require electronics. If you want lighting or motorisation, plan modifications and ensure fit with the kit parts.
