The Honda CB750F, launched in 1979, became known for its air-cooled DOHC 16-valve inline-four layout and later power bump to around 70hp in 1981. This Tamiya 16024 kit translates that historic engine into a highly detailed 1/6 scale model suitable for display-oriented builders.
This kit reproduces the 748cc DOHC four-cylinder engine with well defined external parts such as the exhaust run, air cleaner assembly, and rear swing arm with chain drive. The assembly includes tiny bolts and primary components like the cylinder head cover plus the four carburetors. Components are supplied in black plastic along with chrome and matte plated finishes for a realistic look. Vinyl tubing is included to mimic breather hoses and oil lines, and the completed engine fixes to a display stand bearing a specification sticker.
