The Tamiya 18607 Nitro Thunder uses the MS chassis to offer a compact, tuneable Mini 4WD platform aimed at racers who like to tweak setup. The mid-ship motor positioning, with batteries flanking the motor, helps maintain a low and central center of gravity. The chassis splits into three detachable modules so you can adapt the layout quickly for different track types while the ABS shell mirrors the rugged look of Nitro Thunder and Nitro Force buggies.

Powertrain and Chassis Function

Equipped with a new double shaft Type 130 motor, the MS chassis transmits drive directly to the front and rear axles without a propeller shaft. This reduces mechanical drag and supports stronger acceleration. Replaceable front and rear chassis pieces allow targeted setup changes for club or time attack events.
