In the 2004 Japan GT Championship NISMO brought the 350Z into the field, succeeding the GT-R. The Xanavi Nismo Z ran with a 2987cc V6 twin-turbo and was campaigned by Satoshi Motoyama and Richard Lyons, capturing wins in Round 1 and Round 6 and securing the season titles.
The Tamiya 1/24 scale kit reproduces the race car with attention to the widened arches and long front and rear sections. It measures 195mm long and 84mm wide. The front intake uses nylon mesh for an authentic look, and a die-cast under panel provides weight and arrives pre-coated black to assist assembly. Metal transfers cover mirrors and the Nissan badge, and the tyres are pad-printed. The kit also includes a display base with a nameplate for finished presentation.
