After rushing because of the Nissan GT-R for more than a decade, the factory Nissan racing group (NISMO) purchased a new car for the 2004 Japan GT Championships (JGTC), the 350Z activities coupe. Keeping winning aspects of the 2003 GT-R model, including the effective 2987cc V6 twin-turbo motor, the No.22 Motul Pitwork Z had been driven by the team of M. Kageyama and M.
