Offered as a display piece in Tamiya's Masterwork Collection, this finished 1/12 scale motorcycle recreates the 2006 Kawasaki race machine for collectors and display use.
The Kawasaki ZX-RR served as Kawasaki's four-stroke racing prototype after the manufacturer's return to factory competition in the early 2000s. The 2006 iteration used a high-capacity inline four-cylinder engine and updated bodywork developed for top-level track performance. That season saw competitive qualifying and race results, with several standout finishes for the factory effort.
Supplied fully finished, the model needs no assembly. Body proportions and the race livery are modelled to 1/12 scale, and surface detail is emphasised by paint and pad-printed markings. The inline-four engine casting is represented on the model, and the exhaust replicates the four-into-two-into-one routing found on the prototype, complete with the etched AKRAPOVIC marking on the muffler. Tires are synthetic rubber for a lifelike appearance, and a racing display stand is included for static presentation.
A display-focused finished replica that captures the motorcycle's lines and engine profile, ready for immediate presentation in a collection.
