The Tyrrell P34 is an iconic six-wheel racer that grabbed attention for its compact front wheel arrangement and aerodynamic focus. At the 1977 Monaco GP Ronnie Peterson campaigned the car in its blue and white First National City Bank colours, and although tyre development proved a limiting factor the design still featured notable aerodynamic refinements like the full engine cowling.
Tamiya's 1/20 kit reproduces those hallmark elements, modelling the DFV engine with ignition wiring and supplying photo-etched seatbelt buckles to add cockpit finesse. A display base with a nameplate plus a clear case are included so the finished model can be shown off with minimal fuss.
