The Tyrrell P34 caused a feeling in the F1 world when it had been unveiled in 1975. Derek Gardner desired to improve braking and cornering performance by reducing how big the drag-inducing front side tires while preserving contact spot area with the use of 4 tires, therefore producing the only real 6-wheeled machine in F1 history.
