It incorporates developments from Honda's racing programs, including a high-output, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine and aerodynamic bodywork featuring internal winglets on the side fairings. The SP variant emphasises upgraded suspension and electronic systems to aid track-capable handling while remaining suitable for road use.

The model is finished with a priority on visual authenticity rather than construction processes. It recreates the aerodynamic fairings and internal winglet geometry.
