The Tamiya 22016 - TA08 Low Friction King Pin Balls are a lightweight upgrade for TC-01 and TA-08 chassis that help reduce un-sprung mass by about 0.4 grams per ball. Replacing steel suspension balls with anodized aluminium can make the car feel livelier and more responsive over rough surfaces.

Better freedom of movement

These low friction king pin balls lower friction at the king-pin interface so the suspension can operate more freely. The hard anodized finish boosts durability and structural stiffness. They fit front and rear positions, and two sets are required to complete a single chassis conversion.

Fitment notes and recommended parts

Specifically produced for the TC-01 and TA08 PRO chassis, the balls are a direct replacement for standard 7mm suspension balls and king-pins. For a thorough update, use them alongside TC-01 C/D suspension items (51663) and TA08 D suspension arms (51669). Each upright takes one ball at the top and another at the bottom.
