The Tamiya 22082 TA08R Carbon Upper Deck is a direct-fit 2.0mm carbon plate designed to refine traction and chassis behaviour on TA08 models. Its thickness is selected to deliver consistent flex for more predictable throttle and corner responses.

What the TA08R Carbon Deck Brings

A 630 ball bearing is incorporated to assist roll stability and keep the deck bending evenly. The component preserves symmetrical flex, which helps drivers tune handling reliably. Included hardware such as hex screws and shims simplifies the swap.

Fitment Advice and Complementary Parts

Built for use with TA08 PRO (Item 58693) and TA08R (Item 47498) chassis, the deck mounts in standard locations. For a firmer setup, combine it with Tamiya aluminium front and rear upper arm mounts and the aluminium motor mount to reduce chassis deflection.
