The powerplant inside vehicle is a 2568cc, six cylinder, DOHC, 24 valve, twin ceramic turbocharged and intercooled 280 horsepower motor, which was designed from outset for competition usage. In order to efficiently transfer this tremendous power to the wheels, the Skyline GT-R includes Nissan's initial ATTESA E-TS variable torque-split 4-wheel-drive train, and a SUPER-HICAS 4-wheel-steering system. Along with its refined multi-link suspension system geometry, the automobile minimizes the spin potential during difficult competition running. Effective ventilated disk brake system all-around assures no fade stopping performance within track or in the street. The aggressive human anatomy styling is sculptured by the huge front side and back blister fenders, front air-dam, and big back spoiler to acquire downforce performance.
