This Tamiya 1/24 Alpine Renault A110 Monte-Carlo 1971 model is a faithful small-scale recreation of the classic rally winner from 1971. It reproduces the car's lean lines and rally-era components to give model builders an authentic project.
Born from Jean Rédélé's work on the Renault 4CV, the Alpine A110 used an FRP body to reduce mass and improve handling. Combined with a rear-mounted 956cc inline four and tuned suspension, the A110 proved highly competitive on rally stages in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The kit captures exterior details, engine components and cockpit elements with moulded accuracy, and the included decals reflect the 1971 Monte Carlo livery. Measuring 161mm in length when finished, the model is compact yet rich in scale detail for cabinet display.
