The Tamiya 24291 - 1/24 Takata Dome NSX 2005 model kit reproduces the car campaigned by drivers Ryo Michigami and Takashi Kogure, noted for its second place at Twin Ring Motegi. The kit documents the vehicle's naturally aspirated engine switch during that season.

Engineered with attention to scale accuracy, the kit features precision-moulded components to reflect the NSX aerodynamics. Included are premium Cartograf decals for the authentic livery, metal transfers for mirrors and badges, a pre-painted semi-gloss black diecast underpanel, mesh covers for air intakes, and synthetic rubber tyres to complete the display look.

What tools are recommended for this kit?

Standard modelling tools such as fine cutters, a hobby knife, sanding sticks, plastic cement and fine brushes are recommended to assemble and finish the kit cleanly.

Does the kit include pre-finished parts?

The underpanel is pre-painted semi-gloss black, but most body panels and details will require painting and careful finishing by the modeller.

Are mesh inserts supplied for vents?

Yes, the kit includes mesh covers for the front air duct and the rear fender to replicate the original race car openings.

How authentic are the badges and mirrors?
