The Red-Tail Angels

The "Tuskegee Airmen" had been a famous USAAF product that has been composed of African-American pilots during WWII. They formed the 332nd Fighter Group and had been firstly deployed towards the Mediterranean in June 1943. Into the following 12 months, the 332nd FG had been deployed to Italy to escort bombers to attack objectives in Southern Germany and Eastern Europe. In November 1944, the machine was re-equipped with P-51Ds as well as in March 1945, they escorted B-17 bombers to Berlin. The machine protected the bombers with this objective as well and obtained the trust regarding the bomber devices.
