• Historical back ground
  The German intrusion of Russia in 1941 triggered a serious losings for the Russian military. However, Russian commanders returned from these very early defeats to reach victories at the Battle of Stalingrad therefore the Battle of Kursk. Over these battles, the Russian army frequently captured German automobiles and employed them in their own personal units. The Kubelwagen ended up being among these captured automobiles and some got Russian enrollment figures and used as staff automobiles.
