Service History and Kit Content

The Hetzer was built on the Czech 38t chassis and carried a 75mm gun behind heavily sloped frontal armor, making it a compact but effective tank destroyer. Tamiya reproduces that form and supplies four photo-etched sheets for detailed fittings such as fenders, skirt plates and engine grilles, plus a brass barrel jacket for the MG34 and brass antenna parts for added authenticity.
