The M4 Sherman was the principal U.S. medium tank in World War II, produced in large quantities to supply allied forces. Early M4 types paired a welded hull with a cast turret housing the 75mm M3 gun and were typically powered by a gasoline engine around 350 hp. Shermans saw service in theatres including North Africa, Italy, and Normandy as a general-purpose armoured platform.

At 1/48 scale the finished model recreates the rounded 75mm-turret lines and suspension components with painted weathering to match a France, 1944 appearance.
