The Universal Carrier Mk.II served across multiple World War II theatres and is captured here in a compact 1/48 scale by Tamiya. This finished version highlights the functional design that made the carrier so widely produced during the conflict.
This example is modelled as a carrier from the 2nd Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry of the 3rd Infantry Division in Europe. It is supplied fully assembled so you can place it on a shelf or in a small diorama without any assembly. Measuring 80mm long, it fits well into mixed scale collections and small scenes.
Decals and markings are applied by pad printing to keep unit details sharp and durable. A restrained weathering treatment gives the model an operational look while a spin-cast metal weight adds heft and realism. A driver figure is included to enhance the display composition.
