1/700 scale Yahagi cruiser model

The Japanese Light Cruiser Yahagi belonged to the Agano-class and was laid down in 1939, completed by December 1943. She participated in major fleet actions including the Battle of the Philippine Sea and later moved with the battleship Yamato for the Okinawa operation. Tamiya 31315 faithfully represents key features such as the ship's two quadruple torpedo launchers and the bolstered anti-aircraft armament of her final refit.

Presentation, parts and assembly notes

This 1/700 kit renders the Yahagi at a finished length of 247mm with sharp exterior moulding suitable for display. Armament parts reflect historical fittings, and included metal components help with balance and a more convincing presentation. The kit supplies waterslide decals and pictorial instructions to guide model builders through assembly.
