Tamiya made 1/700 Japanese Light Cruiser Kuma (31316) Battleship/ Cruiser Navy Military Series assembly kit

1/700 Japanese Light Cruiser Kuma

Japanese Navy doctrine had battleships and their big firearms playing the main part in naval battles, and a robust "8-8" fleet of 8 battleships and 8 battlecruisers was prepared. To escort this fleet, the Kuma ended up being set down in 1918 whilst the lead ship of the woman namesake course of 5,500 ton light cruisers. This model illustrates the ship as she showed up between 1939 and 1940, along with her 3 straight funnels, easy connection, and solitary 14cm firearms, all distinctive features of Japanese light cruisers from that era, accurately reproduced. Perhaps the degaussing cables anchors are crisply molded on the synthetic.
