• About the Tiger I
  Towards the center of WWII, the Wehrmacht had been hard pressed on two fronts, dealing with tough combat from the superior Soviet T34 and KV-I tanks into the East, and retreating in the face of the Allied offensive in North Africa. However in late 1942, German devices had been assigned a strong brand new war device that far surpassed the Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks: the Tiger I. designed with the awesome 88mm primary weapon, 100mm thick armor at the front, 80mm armor on sides, and a 650hp Maybach engine, the Tiger we is widely considered to be the absolute most powerful and advanced tank of its time. Henschel produced over 1,300 Tiger we heavy tanks during the period of the war, including initial manufacturing to modified belated manufacturing models. The around 200 models created from November 1942 to June 1943 are characterized as early production models. Distinctive top features of early production Tiger we tanks range from the big cylinder shaped cupola with a smoke discharger and pistol ports regarding turret.
