Tamiya made 1/48 US Modern 4x4 Utility Vehicle Cargo Type (32563) Trucks / Vehicle Military Series assembly kit

  • This model may be the first 1/48 U.S 4x4 energy automobile Tamiya has manufactured in the 1/48 scale military miniature series. Developed in the late 1970s, the US armed forces released the U.S 4x4 energy car to change the M151 MUTT and M561 in missions. This 4x4 energy automobile allowed the U.S army to do different missions with one car. The automobile ended up being understood for the off-road flexibility and dependability. The U.S 4x4 car was versatile due to its lightweight and excellent performance. The aluminum body and strong metal framework permitted it to take on functions such as for example cargo/troop transport, ambulance, and armament provider. The car included a 4-wheel separate suspension system, 4WD system, and a 150hp V8 diesel engine that permitted it to reach top speeds of 105km/h. The most popular form of this vehicle had been the "Cargo Type", which included a sizable rear deck area to put on 1,100kg of cargo or eight infantrymen. These cars first were used in Panama in 1989 and since have already been utilized in the 1991 Gulf War.
