The Panzer II Ausf.A/B/C variants were the mainstay tanks for the German Panzer Divisions through the Blitzkreig operations of early-WWII. They certainly were compact (4.8m very long, 2.2m wide) tanks loaded with a 140hp gas motor, which enabled a maximum rate of 40km/h. Although these were gently armed with only a 2cm primary gun and a 7.92mm device weapon as well as their front armor had been only 15mm dense, they supplied valiant service through the Polish and French campaigns when the German Army had a shortage regarding the more capable Panzer III tanks.
