  The BA-64B was the successor towards the BA-64, and both used sloped armor much like the German Sd.Kfz.222, plus an open-topped turret fitted with a 7.62mm device weapon. The 2.4-ton car accommodated a crew of 2, and its own 50hp engine produced a high speed of 80km/h. The BA-64B's widened front side and rear track enhanced stability and corrected the overturning issues experienced by its predecessor. It featured longer front and back fenders and observation hatches regarding driver's left and right sides.
