This model recreates a 1.5ton Russian cargo vehicle which formed a key element of the Russian war effort in WWII. As a result of scarcity of materials following the commencement of hostilities with German forces, the 1941 type of the truck ended up being redesigned to make use of only the smallest amount of metal.
