The StuG III Ausf.G was a widely used German assault gun in WWII, based on the Panzer III chassis and built with a low fixed superstructure for infantry support tasks. This early G-type 1/35 reproduction highlights the features that distinguished its wartime service and later upgrades borne from frontline encounters.
From late 1942 the Ausf.G carried the 75mm L/48 gun, with a square mantlet and a commander's cupola as common fittings. Many wartime vehicles added an MG42 and side skirts later on; this kit focuses on the early G look and its battlefield application.
The set contains over 220 parts, lending a high level of external fidelity. Components include realistic towing cables, shovels and smoke dischargers, plus rubber tracks and separate suspension arms. Two crew figures and selectable hatch positions make for flexible displays.
