The Tamiya 35250 kit gives modellers a close study of the M4A3 Sherman in its late 1944 configuration, a vehicle central to Allied operations during major counteroffensives. The kit aims to represent the Sherman with scale-accurate form and fittings for display model builds.
The M4A3 is presented with its 75mm gun and V8 450hp Ford engine, elements that defined its performance. This model depicts the sloped front hull with 63.5mm frontal plating and the wet ammo storage modifications that improved crew survivability.
The 1/35 scale rendition captures the cast turret and welded hull lines, and offers open or closed hatch options. Two different road wheels and sprockets are supplied alongside rubber padded tracks. Included are three crew figures and a commander to enhance scenes.
Use the kit with companion US vehicles like the M8 Greyhound or the 2.5-ton 6X6 truck to recreate frontline scenes from late WWII, adding terrain and figures for greater realism.
