Tamiya made 1/35 Japan JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle Iraq Hum (35275) Armored Cars Military Series assembly kit

Towards JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle With the HMV Hayate and Type 73 Little energy car installed with small armor and achieving poor defense capabilities, in 1997 japan Ground self defense purposes Force (JGSDF) began growth of a new high-mobility light armored transportation car. Capable of accommodating 4 workers, the JGSDF Light Armored car is fitted with a 160hp liquid cooled 4-cycle 4-cylinder diesel motor, letting it achieve top speeds of 100km/h. Weighing simply 4.5 tons, it is able to be carried by a CH-47J helicopter or C-130H transport aircraft for emergency air-drops. The weapon mount on the roof are fitted with a 5.56mm MINIMI device weapon or Light Anti-Tank Directed Missile. Vehicles deployed to Iraq were fitted with strengthened bulletproof windshields, with automobiles fitted with wire cutters and a rotational armored address around the weapon mount for additional protection.
