Tamiya 1/35 British Infantry Tank Matilda - Mk.III/IV #35300  [35300]

• at the start of 1930, the Uk military made the decision to make tanks for various roles, with manufacturing for the A12 "Matilda" from 1936. During those times, the Matilda had the thickest armor at 60mm, arrived armed with a 2-pounder cannon, and had dense side skirts which protected the "Japanese type" bogies. Powered by two diesel engines, the Matilda had a top speed of 24km/hr that has been considered appropriate as it matched the walking rate of infantry. Within North African front, many thanks to its impenetrable armor, the Matilda entirely defeated the opposing Italian forces. Due to the power of the armor, the Germans started to utilize 88mm weapons that have been truly the only weapons which could penetrate the Matilda. The Matilda was utilized throughout WWII and was also employed by Soviet, Australian, and Allied forces under the Lend-Lease Act.
