This product is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly model of the German Tractor RSO/01, supplied for hobbyists who build and display military vehicle models.

The original RSO/01 was created during World War II to provide a tracked light tractor capable of operation in deep snow and on poor roads, particularly on the Eastern Front. It featured a front-mounted 70 hp V8 petrol engine that drove the rear sprockets via a propeller shaft. Early types used a rounded pressed-steel cabin; later units raised the cabin floor to clear larger snow tracks. The type served as both an artillery tractor and a general-purpose transport in difficult conditions.

The kit reproduces the external appearance introduced after spring 1943, including the raised cabin and characteristic bed details. Injection-moulded parts include options for a canvas frame, a wood-textured cargo bed, and side-mounted snow-track fittings. External mechanical items such as the drive shaft, differential housings and visible gear positions are modelled to represent the real appearance without suggesting interior servicability.

Construction is conventional, using multiple sprues and straight track sections that are fitted during assembly. The kit allows the cargo bed to be finished with or without a canvas cover, and the cabin front may be built with or without shutter panels. Clear parts are included with masking stickers to assist painting, and decals provide two marking schemes from 1944.
