Tamiya made Gear Differential Putty (42247)

Gear differential putty is employed to regulate the differential action of gear diff devices found in R/C automobiles that have sealed gear diff systems. Whenever high viscosity natural oils are not sufficient to attain the desired differential action, using putty can become quite handy. The product in this package comes in a roll that may be removed effortlessly from the synthetic instance, cut into 3mm pieces with scissors and inserted to the differential.
