The Tamiya 42275 - TRF503 brings targeted improvements from the Tamiya Racing Factory aimed at racers who prioritise responsiveness. This 1/10 scale chassis blends a lightweight layout with upgraded geometry to improve corner behaviour.
The TRF503 updates the core layout to manage power and balance more effectively. A longer lower deck extends wheelbase by 7.5mm to stabilise the buggy on rough sections. The motor is shifted forward 10.5mm and aligned closer to the centreline to reduce roll and improve mid-corner stability.
The single-piece aluminium centre pulley supports higher output motors, and aluminium bulkheads trim roughly 20% of the weight to aid nimbleness and steering response.
Handling refinement is driven by suspension geometry and damper selection. The aluminium suspension plate uses a 14 degree angle to tune rebound and transition behaviour. Big bore aeration dampers and oil-filled gear differentials provide controlled damping and traction over mixed surfaces.
