Styled and Ready: Tamiya 43527 XBG Esso Ultraflo Supra

The Tamiya 43527 XBG Esso Ultraflo Supra recreates the Super GT icon in polycarbonate, complete with accurate sponsor graphics and the distinctive tiger motif. Supplied as a nitro RTR model, it is ready for immediate running and display straight from the box.

TNS Platform and FS-12SW Power

At its core the TNS chassis uses a double-layer design combining an aluminium lower deck and a resilient plastic upper deck for controlled flex and strength. The fitted 2.1cc FS-12SW engine, produced in collaboration with O.S. Engines, delivers consistent output and the large disk brake aids deceleration control.

Chassis Dynamics and Shock Absorption

Full-time 4WD provides reliable traction across a variety of surfaces and the independent double wishbone suspension with long-span arms and aluminium-capped oil dampers helps maintain stability and ride quality. The setup is straightforward to tune for different driving environments.

Tyre choice matters; softer compounds work better on low-grip circuits while harder tyres are more durable on abrasive surfaces. Match the tyres to the track for best grip.
Regular brief inspections after each run and a more thorough service after several tanks of fuel will keep the FS-12SW running well; check the glow plug, air filter and fuel lines.
The included 2-channel R/C system is fine for casual running and practice, but competitive racers often upgrade the transmitter and receiver for finer control and telemetry options.
Bring spare glow plugs, extra fuel, a small tool kit, spare shafts or dogbones and some zip ties to handle common on-track repairs quickly.
