Have bought off RCJAZ, for some 6 years,mostly Tamiya parts, they have a great range, good prices, and privide excellent service from Hong Kong

Is gear oil or grease required inside the case?

Use the same lubricant recommended for your original gearbox; the case itself does not include grease but accepts standard gear oils and greases used in RC drivetrains.

Will the tower accept aluminium shock mounts?

Aluminium mounts that match the original mounting hole pattern should fit, but check thickness to ensure proper clearance for moving parts.

How precise are the factory mounting points?

The case is molded to the original Tamiya dimensions so mounting holes line up with stock components; minor trimming is rarely required unless your chassis has been modified.
