The Tamiya 51518 Sand-Viper Body Set is a practical replacement body for 1/10 off-road models. Designed to match DT-02, TRF201 and DN-01 chassis, it makes body swaps simple for a range of Tamiya kits.

Impact-resistant clear polycarbonate

Constructed from clear polycarbonate, the Sand-Viper body delivers a lightweight shell with good impact resistance for rough surfaces. The kit comes with the main body and a rear wing to help control airflow and stability.

Simple mounting, customisable finish

Attach the body quickly using the supplied Velcro tape, avoiding complex mounts. Stickers are not part of the kit, so you can personalise the shell with your own paint and decals.

Does the Sand-Viper need trimming to fit all models?

For the DT-02, TRF201 and DN-01 no major trimming is usually required. Other frames may need small cuts around the mounts to align correctly.

Can I reuse the wing from my old shell?

You can swap wings if the mounting holes line up. The Sand-Viper includes its own rear wing, so reuse is optional depending on fit and style.
