The Tamiya 53322 Hollow Carbon Gear Shaft set upgrades the TL-01 drivetrain by replacing heavier stock shafts with hollow carbon alternatives. These shafts are aimed at hobbyists seeking quicker throttle response and reduced drivetrain drag.

What the Kit Contains

• One 25mm carbon gear shaft
• Two 40mm carbon gear shafts
• One 30mm carbon gear shaft

Each shaft fits TL-01, TL01B and Stadium Raider applications as direct replacements. The 5mm outer diameter fits common bearings and gear setups used on these chassis types.

Fitting and Bearings

It is recommended to install eight 5x11mm bearings along with these shafts for correct support of idler, spur and counter shafts. Make sure bearings are seated squarely and lubricated appropriately to avoid excess wear.
