Assembly Advice

During installation of the Tamiya 54061 Double Slipper Clutch Set make sure plates are concentric and the shaft runs freely. Fine tuning the spring tension will let you control how aggressively power is passed to the wheels.

A double slipper layout lets you split slip control, which can reduce wheel hop by smoothing the initial torque transfer when you get back on the power.
Expect a short bedding in period over several runs; pads will settle and grip characteristics will stabilise, after which you can fine tune preload.
Yes, changing spring rate or replacing pads is a common way to alter engagement. Keep original spacers and measure stack height when swapping components.
This kit uses the DB-01 standard shaft and hub interfaces. Using clean, well-sealed bearings is recommended but special bearing types are not mandatory for fitment.
Check for uneven pad wear, loose spacers, or misaligned plates. Reassemble carefully and test with small spring adjustments to eliminate chatter.
