Upgrading M05 and M06 cars with the Tamiya 54267 Aluminum Rear Upright brings a noticeable reduction in rear suspension flex. These blue-anodized aluminium pieces help the car hold its line better through sweeping bends and quick direction changes.

Geometry details and where it fits

The uprights are made with a 2.0-degree toe-in that matches the stock resin geometry. On an M-05 chassis this yields a 2.0-degree rear toe-in; fitted to an M-06 chassis the measured rear toe-in becomes 3.5 degrees, which enhances straight-line stability at speed.

Supported configurations include:

• M-05: Use with M-05 Adjustable Upper Arm Set (54182) and 1050 Ball Bearings (51239).
• M-05Ra: Same as M-05 plus the Aluminum Rear Upright Adapter for M-05Ra Chassis (54266).
